Jamie and Claire aren't riding off into the sunset in peace yet.

Starz has released the "Outlander" Season 4 trailer, and the TV drama's beloved couple has more trials ahead -- and scary ones, too, based on what we've seen so far. The preview picks up where Season 3 left off, with Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) in the New World. They're looking to chase the American Dream, but there are new threats that may lead to a nightmare instead.

"This will lead us to fighting in another war," Claire says at one point. "We will be on the wrong side of history again."

Meanwhile, their daughter, Brianna (Sophie Skelton), is living in the 20th century, and she discovers something very worrisome that affects her parents. Watch the trailer below.

As Jamie says near the end, "life takes unexpected turns" -- and this trailer is full of them.
