Peter Dinklage, Jamie Dornan to Star in HBO Movie About Hervé Villechaize
"Game of Thrones" actor is set to star in and executive produce the HBO movie "My Dinner With Hervé," according to Deadline. Jamie Dornan ("Fifty Shades of Grey," "The Fall") will appear alongside Dinklage.
The movie, written and directed by Sacha Gervasi, tells the story of an unlikely friendship born one wild night in L.A. between struggling journalist Danny Tate and actor Hervé Villechaize, perhaps the world's most famous dwarf at the time.
Villechaize was best known for playing Tattoo on "Fantasy Island" and Nick Nack in the James Bond film "The Man With the Golden Gun." He committed suicide in 1993 at the age of 50.
Gervasi interviewed Villechaize just before his death about his tumultuous life and career.
"Hervé wasn't just a pop culture icon; he was one of the most charming, cultured and dangerous people I've ever met," Gervasi has said. "His is the story of a unique misfit trying to find his place in the world."
