'Queer Eye' Trailer: Netflix's Reboot Does Life Makeovers
Netflix is bringing "Queer Eye" back into our lives, starting in February.
The streamer released a new trailer for the rebooted series Thursday, teasing what the offshoot of the 2003 Bravo reality show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" will offer. Like its predecessor, the show will focus on big life makeovers for ordinary people. The makeover subjects will adopt changes in multiple areas of their lives, with the help of a new Fab Five and their so-called "Queer Eye."
The reboot's Fab Five consists of Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Tan France, and they'll offer their expertise in design, food and wine, culture, grooming, and fashion, respectively. They're taking over from the original five, which included Thom Filicia, Ted Allen, Jai Rodriguez, Kyan Douglas, and Carson Kressley. In addition to doing their set jobs, it looks like they'll work to open people's minds and hearts.
"The original show was fighting for tolerance," the trailer tells us in voice-over. "Our fight is for acceptance."

"Queer Eye" is set for an eight-episode run and premieres Feb. 7 on Netflix.
