Robin Leach, 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' Host, Dead at 76
Robin Leach, the smooth-voiced host of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," died Friday morning at the age of 76.
The veteran entertainment journalist had been hospitalized since Nov. 21 after suffering a stroke in Cabo San Lucas, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, where Leach had as a celebrity columnist since 2016.

The London native was a journalist from a young age. He became the youngest editor at London's Daily Mail at age 18, then wrote for the New York Daily News, Ladies' Home Journal, People and The Star after moving to the U.S. in 1963. He appeared on CNN and helped launch "Entertainment Tonight." He was also an early investor in the Food Network.
Leach was best known for displaying the opulent "champagne wishes and caviar dreams" on "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, which aired in syndication from 1984 to 1995.
