Ryan Phillippe Shares Hospital Bed Photo After Breaking Leg in 'Freak Accident'
Ryan Phillippe broke his leg in a "freak accident," but promises he'll make a "full recovery." He shared a photo to Instagram from his hospital bed while giving a thumbs-up, despite the fact that his leg is "badly broken and required surgical attention."
The actor, who stars on the USA show "Shooter," says the injury happened during a family outing on Sunday.
It's expected to affect the production schedule of his show, but not cause delays, Variety reports. "We are working with our partners at USA and UCP to adjust the production schedule, but first and foremost we are happy to hear that Ryan is doing well and recovering," a rep for Paramount, which produces the show, tells Variety.
Season two of "Shooter" premieres tonight. Phillippe promises he'll be live tweeting both the east and west coast premieres and participating in a "long-ass" Q&A session.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
