Game shows tend to walk the line between fun and cheesy, but a new concept from our favorite Merc With a Mouth definitely sounds like it belongs in the "fun" camp.

Variety reports that "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds is producing a new series for ABC called "Don't," which the trade says is a "comedic physical game show" in which families of four must complete "mental and physical tasks with just one rule: 'Don’t' do something."

Here's the rest of the series breakdown, per Variety:

They might be told to “don’t slip,” “don’t laugh,” “don’t scream,” “don’t forget,” or another “don’t” challenge."

Each episode will focus on one family as they go through the “Don’t” tests. If they succeed, they’ll win a cash prize. But if the family fails a challenge, one of them will be eliminated. When just one contestant is left, the last remaining family member must compete on their own. Whatever money they’ve earned, the family keeps.

“All my life, the word ‘don’t’ has tortured me,” Reynolds said in a statement. “From ‘don’t curse’ to ‘don’t play ball in the house’ to ‘don’t eat the crab salad you left in the sun for three days.’ I cannot wait for my personal trauma to become the next great ABC family show.”

Reynolds fans who've been following his career from the beginning will remember that he got his start on the short-lived ABC sitcom "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place" (later renamed to the shortened "Two Guys and a Girl"), which ran from 1998 to 2001. The actor helpfully reminded the network of that fact when touting "Don't."

"Don't" was created by  Banijay Studios North America, and has been picked up for multiple episodes by ABC, though an exact count was not provided. Variety also reports that it's unclear if Reynolds will host, or appear on screen at all on the series. Our fingers will be crossed.
