Lately, the longest you have to wait is two or three years before the next installment in whatever potential or established franchise hits theaters. To celebrate Hollywood's longest-gestating sequels -- and the potential disappointment that comes with them -- we present the widest gaps between two movies of the same franchise, along with whether or not they were worth the wait.
