Your favorite neighbors, the Gallaghers, are back this fall -- and maybe they won't be as dysfunctional as usual. Nah, they totally will be!

"Shameless." And as Cameron Monaghan, who plays Ian, teases, "The theme of the season is new beginnings, but of course, this is 'Shameless,' so we'll see how far that actually goes."

When we last saw the Gallaghers, Fiona (Emmy Rossum) was set to marry Sean (Dermot Mulroney), but her father Frank (William H. Macy) busted up the wedding by revealing that Sean was using drugs again. At the end of the finale, the kids banded together and threw him into the icy Chicago river.

Clearly, Frank survives, but he decides he needs a new family. Meanwhile, Fiona has sworn off men, Debbie (Emma Kenney) is a kleptomaniac, Ian is questioning sexuality, and Lip (Jeremy Allen White) emerges from rehab with determination to make something of himself.

"Shameless" Season 7 premieres Sunday, October 2 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
