Barb of 'Stranger Things' Honored by Starbucks Barista in Hilarious Way
The call for #JusticeForBarb will never end.
"Stranger Things" Season 1 vet Shannon Purser was at Starbucks recently, and her barista wrote exactly the right thing on her cup. The actress shared an image after the fact, showing that the employee who made her drink chose not to write her name, as is the usual Starbucks custom, but instead wrote a message fans will appreciate: "Barb deserved better."
Purser was apparently amused by the tribute on her drink, so she took a picture and shared it on Twitter Wednesday. She shared her gratitude for the show of support, writing, "thanks guys" in her tweet.

Purser's character, Barb, won over the hearts of fans in Season 1 when she did her best to protect her friend Nancy (Natalia Dyer), only to end up being attacked by the Demogorgon in repayment. The tragedy of it outraged many, leading them to demand that her character get justice. It's gotten to the point that David Harbour, who plays Hopper, has admitted that he's sick of the internet ire.
As Purser's Starbucks cup shows, Barb is gone but not forgotten. RIP, Barb.
