'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Trailer: Peter Parker Gets Help From Tony Stark
High school is even harder when you're a teenage superhero.
The latest trailer for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" shows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) adjusting to life as a superhero, and it looks like it is challenging to balance saving the day with school Spanish quizzes. Luckily, Peter has a good mentor: none other than Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). The preview highlights the two superheroes' unique relationship, as well as Peter's sharp learning curve as he adjusts to his new role.
Like most teens, Peter is eager to become more independent. Although Tony encourages him to start small and just be "a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man," the budding web slinger is desperate to prove himself. It makes for an entertaining dynamic, perhaps best characterized by the trailer's hilarious awkward hug scene. The film also stars Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Zendaya Coleman, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and more. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" hits theaters July 7.
