'Stranger Things' Season 2 Gets Release Date, Teaser, Poster
Welcome back to Hawkins! Now, batten down the hatches, because a storm is a-brewing.
Netflix announced the release date for Season 2 of its hit supernatural drama "Stranger Things" — Friday, October 27 ... just in time for Halloween.
That's apt since some spooky stuff is going down in Hawkins, Indiana. The new teaser promises: "1984 only gets stranger."

Season 2 is set about a year after the events of the first season. Not much is known about the plot, other than that there's a new evil that "makes the Demagorgon look quaint." Meanwhile, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) continues to struggle with memories of his abduction to the Upside Down. And there are some new cast members, including Sean Astin as a love interest for Winona Ryder and a couple of new kids in school.
Netflix also released the first poster for Season 2, which depicts a rager of a storm hitting town. Whether it's literal or metaphorical, we'll have to wait and find out.
