The premiere of "Stranger Things" Season 2 isn't going to feel like coming home.

Returning to Hawkins, Indiana, this October may actually bring some confusion. The hit Netflix series is switching things up for its sophomore season, and David Harbour, who plays Police Chief Jim Hopper, told THR that the first five minutes will feel very unfamiliar.

"The first five minutes, you're not going to know you're watching 'Stranger Things,'" he said. "You're going to be checking the thing: 'Did I put on something else?'"

Harbour didn't offer any details on why that will be, but he did tease an interesting development that will occur toward the end of the five-minute period. According to the actor, whatever happens will show viewers that they have "opened up the world in a fresh new way." As part of that, they'll reveal "new concepts."

Harbour's hints seem to go along with clues that have been previously dropped, such as a terrible thing happening early on and the threat of dark forces even worse than the Demogorgon. Unfortunately, his intel is equally cryptic, making us all the more curious. We'll see what he means, and what other thrills are in store for us, when "Stranger Things" Season 2 premieres Oct. 27 on Netflix.
