'Stranger Things' Teaser Was Most Tweeted Ad of Super Bowl 2017
"Stranger Things" fans could not L'Eggo of their excitement about Netflix's Super Bowl ad. The Season 2 teaser earned the most tweets of any ad during last night's game. According to social-media measurement firm Amobee (via the New York Post), the much-anticipated first look at "Stranger Things" Season 2 had 307,000 mentions during the game, which was way more than the runner-up, T-Mobile's ads with Justin Bieber, Martha Stewart, and Snoop Dogg.
Here are the top 10 advertisers that generated the most tweets between 6:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2017:
- Stranger Things – 307,000 Tweets
- T-Mobile – 91.7K Tweets
- Mr. Clean – 80.8K Tweets
- AirBnB – 77.8K Tweets
- Coke – 74.5K Tweets
- Audi – 73.1K Tweets
- Budweiser – 72.2K Tweets
- 84 Lumber – 68K Tweets
- Guardians of the Galaxy 2 – 54.4K Tweets
- Intel – 27.3K Tweets
