Sylvester Stallone: Manny Pacquiao Will NOT Be in 'The Expendables 4'
Poor Pacman is just full of fail lately. Not that it would be a career high for Manny Pacquiao to join "The Expendables." That would be sad. He may even be declared the winner to miss this fight. But rumors were flying that Manny would join "Expendables 4" ... until Sylvester Stallone just knocked them out.
TMZ Sports' paparazzi talked to Sly while he was trying to get into his car, asking about Manny in "Expendables 4." Was it true, they asked, that Manny was going to be in the movie if he had won the Mayweather fight? "Of course," Sly said, deadpan. "Yeah, he was going to teach us all how to box." TMZ asked if there was a role for him since he lost. "No, Pacquiao was never going to be in it," Stallone said, softening the blow with a note that "He's a great fighter."
TMZ noted that Manny and Sly are friends, and past fighters like Victor Ortiz, Randy Couture and Ronda Rousey were in "Expendables 3," so it's not out of the question to include Pacman in the fourth movie. But Pacman is apparently out. However, an R rating is in. Back in November, Stallone talked to Crave Online about the mistake of making the third movie PG-13, with the plan to return to an R. "Absolutely unequivocally yes. I believe it was a horrible miscalculation on everyone's part in trying to reach a wider audience, but in doing such, diminish the violence that the audience expects. I'm quite certain it won't happen again."
