'The Bachelor' Contestant Kendall Had Rose Problems, and Fans Loved It
Monday's episode of "The Bachelor" had an important rose up for grabs, but the flower itself was a little ridiculous.
If you haven't watched Season 22, Episode 6, which aired on Feb. 5, there are spoilers ahead!
Fans were nervous as they watched one of the season's sweethearts, Kendall, go up against villain Krystal for a single rose on their two-on-one date. However, when it came time for Arie Luyendyk Jr. to choose between them, he managed to make what viewers considered to be the right decision: The bachelor offered Kendall the rose and sent Krystal packing. Many fans on Twitter were so excited by the development that they likened it to the joy of watching Tom Brady lose Super Bowl LII. But that wasn't the end of the episode's social media chatter; fans soon noticed that Kendall's rose looked a little ... off.
As the episode progressed, "What happened to Kendall's rose?" became a common question on Twitter. It was a fair question, too, because the petals basically all fell off. What was left behind was a shabby, little flower -- a shadow of the beautiful specimen contestants usually receive. Fans' reactions were hilarious and valid, especially in the context of a show in which dating hardly resembles real life.
What happened to Kendall's rose up there on that Eiffel Tower? The whole flower snapped off. Does that still count as a rose?#thebachelor#bachplease

A rose is a rose, however lackluster, and Kendall's "Bachelor" journey is continuing, meaning she may add nicer ones to her collection.
"The Bachelor" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
