'The Bachelorette' Spoilers on Who Rachel Picked Just Changed, Revealing 2018 Bachelor?
Just when we were starting to fall in love with Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay's original spoiler choice, the spoiler changed. But maybe that's a good thing for "The Bachelor" 2018?
We're only three episodes into "The Bachelorette" 2017, but before the premiere even aired, Reality Steve revealed that Rachel's final four were Dean Unglert, Eric Bigger, Bryan Abasolo, and Peter Kraus. He said she would pick Peter. His sources are usually spot-on, although this is a good reminder that these spoilers are always unconfirmed until we see the finales on screen, because Steve just updated today that his source was wrong, and Rachel is really engaged to ... Bryan.
Yes, the guy who looks like he's eating Rachel's face off when he kisses her. He did get Rachel's first impression rose, so it's clear she's into him. Is she so into him that they are now engaged, and it's Bryan, not Peter, that Rachel has been gushing about?
Spoiler fans were not happy with the change, since they thought they were watching a Rachel/Peter love story. However, the silver lining may be that, if Peter is not taken, perhaps he can be the next Bachelor.
I won't believe Bryan won until he is down on one knee in front of Rachel!!!!!!!!! #TheBachelorettepic.twitter.com/n73CvtHYnD

Honestly if Rachel does choose Bryan over Peter that has to be the most messed up decision like ever #thebachelorette

If Peter isn't Rachel's fiancee by the end of the season, he's 1000000% the next bachelor. #TheBachelorette

At this point, it feels safe to say Rachel picks either Peter or Bryan, and whoever is not picked has a decent shot at being the next Bachelor. (Rachel's top four should all be viewed as Bachelor frontrunners, unless they cast another person from this summer's "Bachelor in Paradise.") From here ... we're still mad that Blake K is gone. But moving forward, Rachel picking Bryan could be good news to us, 'cause we wouldn't mind seeing Peter hand out roses next year.
"The Bachelorette" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
