"In war, we not only have to face our enemies, but we must fight the battle within ourselves," says Holden (Steven Strait) in the first teaser for "The Expanse" Season 3.
Syfy released the teaser and announced Season 3's premiere date, which is April 11. According to the network, the new season "finds Earth, Mars and The Belt at war, with each competing entity vying for control. Now, more than ever, the mission to unlock the secret of the protomolecule reaches an all-time high and every decision made could jeopardize the survival of the solar system."
Based on the bestselling book series by Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck (under the pen name James S. A. Corey), "The Expanse" is set 200 years in the future in a colonized solar system.
Season 3 will introduced some new faces, with Elizabeth Mitchell ("Lost") and David Strathairn ("Good Night and Good Luck") joining in recurring roles.
