The 'Homeland' Season 6 Premiere Has Arrived Early
Surprise! You don't have to wait for "Homeland" Season 6's official premiere date to watch the first episode.
Showtime has already made the new episode available on its Showtime streaming service, Showtime Anytime, and Showtime On Demand, reports Deadline. The series doesn't debut on the premium channel itself until Sunday, Jan. 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, so subscribers will get a chance to reunite with Carrie (Claire Danes) and crew more than two weeks early on the platforms in question. Apparently, the network picked up on our need to end 2016 on a high note.
"Homeland" is returning for its sixth season, and this time, the political thriller will return to U.S. soil. Carrie, having stopped a group of terrorists in Berlin, will be living in Brooklyn, New York. The season deals with the aftermath of a presidential election, focusing specifically on the time between Election Day and the new president's inauguration.
If you're not caught up yet, Showtime is making it easy with a multi-day "Homeland" marathon. Go crazy.
