'The OC' Cast: Where Are They Now?

Oh, how we miss the time when every week we transported ourselves to the shores of Newport to watch the soapy drama that unfolded. Those days are long gone, but what are the former residents of "The O.C." up to now? Let's find out.

Mischa Barton (Marissa Cooper)

Before playing poor-little-rich-girl Marissa Cooper, Mischa was best known for her small roles in "Law and Order: SVU" and 2008's "Dancing With the Stars," finishing in 11th place. She currently hosts "Joyride" on the Esquire Channel.

Adam Brody (Seth Cohen)

Before playing the adorkable Seth, Brody was known as Lane Kim's love interest Dave Rygalski on "Gilmore Girls." After "The O.C." finale, Brody starred in films like "Billy & Billie" and "StartUp." He's set to appear in the upcoming "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester.

Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts)

After playing Summer Roberts, Bilson went on to play Dr. Zoe Hart on The CW's "Hart of Dixie" for four seasons. She also appeared in films like 2008's "Jumper." She portrayed Constance Kopp in a 2016 episode of "Drunk History." Bilson has one daughter with longtime love Hayden Christensen.

Ben McKenzie (Ryan Atwood)

McKenzie has gone on to further TV success, starring as James Gordon on Fox's fanboy hit series "Gotham." He also had a lead role in TNT's "Southland." He has one daughter with "Deadpool" actress and "Gotham" co-star Morena Baccarin.

Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper)

Clarke has enjoyed a variety of big TV roles since "The O.C." ended, in shows such as "The Vampire Diaries," "Entourage," "CSI," and "Nikita." She joined her former "O.C." co-star Ben McKenzie on "Gotham" in 2016.

Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen)

Gallagher enjoyed a prolific stage and screen career before playing do-gooder patriarch Sandy Cohen. After the show, he continued his success with recurring roles on a handful of big series, such as "Californication," "Rescue Me," and "Law and Order: SVU."

Kelly Rowan (Kirsten Cohen)

Along with a handful of post-"O.C." TV projects, Perception" until 2015.

Autumn Reeser (Taylor Townsend)

Reeser has worked steadily since "The O.C." said its goodbyes. She had recurring roles in shows like "Necessary Roughness" and "Hawaii 5-0." Next up, she can be seen in the E! scripted series "The Arrangement."

Willa Holland (Kaitlin Cooper)

Chris Carmack (Luke Ward)

You may remember him as Marissa Cooper's ex, but these days he's known as country crooner Will Lexington on "Nashville." Before landing that role in 2013, Carmack starred in a variety of TV movies and did a few TV series guest spots.

Tate Donovan (Jimmy Cooper)

Donovan, a longtime theater actor, was a recognizable name going into "The O.C." to play Marissa's deadbeat dad, Jimmy. He was perhaps best known for portraying Rachel's love interest, Joshua, on "Friends." He went on to star in "Damages" and "Hostages" and appear in films like "The Man in the High Castle."
