It's time to revive Jeremy again!

First we had "The Vampire Diaries," following Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev). Then The CW ordered the spinoff "The Originals," which just ended last night.

Now, this fall, we have "Legacies," following Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted.

According to TVLine, Steven R. McQueen will be bringing his "Vampire Diaries" character to "Legacies." He played Elena’s younger brother/cousin Jeremy Gilbert on TVD, and he'll show up in Episode 3 of the new series. Maybe they'll find a way to kill him off again, at least once, since that's a favorite trick.

Jeremy was last seen in the 2017 "Vampire Diaries" finale, working at the school. We know Matt Davis will also return for "Legacies" as Alaric Saltzman, and Zach Roerig will be around as Sheriff Matt Donovan.

Apparently Caroline Forbes will be missing at least at the start of "Legacies," but it's hoped that Candice King will show up at some point -- since she co-runs the school with Alaric.
