Young actor Tom Holland will be web-slinging into a theater near you.

The 19-year-old has been tapped to play the next Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the super hero franchise’s sixth installment, in theaters on July 28, 2017, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios announced on Tuesday. Jon Watts will direct.

Holland is best known for his performances in 2012’s “The Impossible,” and the TV series “Wolf Hall.”

The British star will make a soft debut as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in a crossover featured in “Captain America: Civil War,” due May 6, 2016.

Previously the role was played by Andrew Garfield in 2014’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and 2012’s “The Amazing Spider-Man,” and Tobey Maguire in a “Spider-Man” trilogy from 2002-2007.

Rumored budding actors Charlie Plummer, Matthew Lintz and Charlie Rowe were among those believed to be considered to play the Web-Slinger.

Taking to his Instagram page on Saturday, Holland displayed impressive physicality by showcasing some backflipping maneuvers - no doubt a precursor to his forthcoming moves on the big screen.
