'Tour De Pharmacy' Trailer: Andy Samberg's New HBO Mockumentary Takes on Cycling
Andy Samberg is working his way to a Mockumentary Olympics.
HBO debuted the trailer for his latest spoof, "Tour de Pharmacy," which tells the story of five cyclists in 1985 in an era when nearly every competitor dopes up for an advantage. Samberg even got Lance Armstrong to make a cameo!
The cast is clearly having fun with the very fake-looking hair pieces and mustaches, as well as some ridiculous accents.
"Tour de Pharmacy" follows Samberg's 2015 HBO mockumentary "7 Days in Hell," in which two tennis players (played by Samberg and "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington) engage in an epic seven-day, five-set match that knocks the stuffing out of them.
The movie is chock-full of stars, including Orlando Bloom, John Cena, Freddie Highmore, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover, Kevin Bacon, and Mike Tyson. And as mentioned, Armstrong makes an appearance to poke fun at himself and his own doping scandal.
"Tour de Pharmacy" is set to air July 8 on HBO.
