The Original 'Trading Spaces' Cast Is Reuniting in Honor of the Revival
Beloved reality design series "Trading Spaces" is set for a revival next year, and to celebrate, TLC is throwing a huge reunion for the show's original cast -- and viewers are invited.
The special, set to air sometime before the revival hits screens, will feature almost all of the designers and carpenters who appeared on the show over its eight seasons, which ran on TLC from 2000 through 2008. The reunited group includes host Paige Davis (who will also reprise that role for the revival), alongside Amy Wynn Pastor, Carter Oosterhouse, Doug Wilson, Frank Bielec, Genevieve Gorder, Hildi Santo-Tomas, Laurie Smith, Ty Pennington, and Vern Yip.
In addition to those familiar faces, the special will also introduce the new designers and carpenters who will be joining the new series: Brett Tutor, Joanie Sprague (who reality TV fans may recognize from her stint on "America's Next Top Model"), John Gidding, Kahi Lee, and Sabrina Soto.
Here's the scoop on the reunion, along with a teaser for the special:
Hosted by Long Lost Family's Lisa Joyner, the cast will discuss the major cultural phenomena that is Trading Spaces as well as reminisce over their favorite show memories -- which is sure to dig up some hilarious dirt! They'll also give us some details on the upcoming brand new season of Trading Spaces, like what challenges they're looking forward to and any designs they're excited to try out!
"Trading Spaces" will return via TLC Go sometime in the spring of 2018.
