'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' Renewed For Season 4 By Netflix
She's unbreakable! Netflix has renewed "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" for a fourth season.
The streaming service just released Season 3 a few weeks ago. Ellie Kemper returned as the plucky, naive titular character, who's navigating life in New York City after 15 years of captivity in a bunker. Titus Burgess, Jane Krakowski, and Carol Kane star as her unlikely friends in the Tina Fey-produced comedy.
In Season 2, Kimmy took on the new challenge of college by earning a rowing scholarship to Columbia University. She met a new love interest (Daveed Diggs) and started, then stopped, divorce proceedings from her kidnapper, Rev. Richard Wayne Gary Wayne (Jon Hamm). After failing out of Columbia and failing to become a crossing guard, Kimmy wound up working for another dropout at a new startup. Meanwhile, Titus broke up with his boyfriend and made his own version of Beyonce's "Lemonade," while Jacqueline discovered her true calling in life: being an agent.
Netflix did not announce when Season 4 would debut, but it's likely to be next summer.
