"BH90210" just added another actor who wasn't part of the original "Beverly Hills 90210" line-up: Vanessa Lachey has joined the Fox event series.

Unlike the original stars (who'll be playing heightened versions of themselves), she'll be playing a fictional character who happens to be married to Jason Priestley.

Also new to the "90210" crew:  La La Anthony has been cast as Shay, a superstar hip-hop singer who's married to Brian Austin Green on the show.

In real life, Vanessa Lachey (née Vanessa Minnillo) is married to former boy band star Nick Lachey.

The one-time "Total Request Live" host appeared on "Dancing With the Stars" in 2017. She currently co-hosts "Top Chef Junior" and just hosted the Miss USA contest.

"BH90210" will premiere on August 7 on Fox.

We await news of more faux spouses and love interests.
