Jeffrey Dean Morgan Calls His 'Walking Dead' Character the 'Biggest A-- in the World'
Fans of "The Walking Dead" may be excited about Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing uber-villain Negan on the zombie drama, but there's one person who isn't thrilled — his mother!
As Morgan told Seth Meyers on "Late Night," his mom is a teensy bit annoyed that his new role could affect the one he had on "The Good Wife," as an investigator and possible love interest for Julianna Margulies. "When I took the show, she was like, 'What does this mean with 'The Good Wife?' She was devastated that this could be the end. I was like, 'Mom, keep your pants on.'"
On "The Good Wife," Morgan's character was a (mostly reformed) bad boy with a soft side for Alicia Florrick. That doesn't even come close to describing the evil guy he'll play on "The Walking Dead."
Negan is "a game-changer. It's a complete 180 from what I'm doing on 'The Good Wife,' which for an actor is a dream come true," he said. "I get to be the biggest a-- in the world."
Guess Rick Grimes is getting some competition for that title!
