Watch the First Intense Nine Minutes NBC's New Show 'Manifest'
Prince Charming is embroiled in a "Lost"-like mystery.
Josh Dallas has himself a new show, after completing the final season of "Once Upon a Time" for ABC. Now he's part of NBC's missing plane drama "Manifest," and you can watch the "first act" of the new show -- basically the first nine minutes -- before the September premiere:
"In 2013, Flight 828 disappeared. Today, it came home."
The plan apparently disappeared from radar during flight, only to reappear five years later after being presumed lost at sea. No time has passed for the passengers, but five years has gone by for everyone else, including their loved ones.
When the series was first announced in February, Deadline said it would follow the characters' personal lives as well as the larger mystery "and purpose that is their destiny."
Josh Dallas plays Ben Stone, described by Deadline as the "quintessential type-A father and intelligence analyst, Ben struggles against what he can't control — whether it's his son's rare pediatric cancer or the mysterious voice that's now inside his head."
"Valor" star Melissa Roxburgh plays the co-lead of Michaela Stone, sister of Dallas' Ben Stone. "Wracked with guilt over a tragic accident, Michaela anguishes about whether she's fit to be a police officer and fiancée. When she mysteriously returns years later after being missing, she finds her life with a strange new purpose."
"Manifest" premieres Monday, September 24 on NBC.
