Young Actors Give Their Best Showbiz Advice

Guests at the premiere of Disney XD's "Mark and Russell's Wild Ride" are walking red carpets now, but it didn't happen overnight.

The comedy-adventure follows the titular characters, played by Joey Bragg and Sean Giambrone, as Mark (Bragg) embarks on a wild adventure with his best friend (Giambrone) in a bid to pass his driver's license exam so that he can take the most popular girl in school to a pool party.

Actors from a handful of the company's productions--including "Jessica Darling's It List" and "Best Friends Whenever"--gave Made In Hollywood the lowdown on just what you have to do to someday be walking carpets of your own.

Joey Bragg

"If you're the kind of person who can turn rejection into motivation--to try and get that non-rejection, I think that's all it takes," Joey Bragg, who also stars on The Disney Channel's "Liv and Maddie" said.

Sean Giambrone

Sean Giambrone, who also appears on ABC's "The Goldbergs," suggested: "Go online and just try to look at some agencies and then just try and put yourself out there."

Lizzy Greene

Nickelodeon's "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn" actress Lizzy Greene somewhat echoed Giambrone's sentiments, suggesting, "Be confident, be brave and don't be afraid to put yourself out there."

Chloe Monet East

"Just be real," Chloe Monet East, star of digital film "Jessica Darling's It List" advised. "Acting's living truthfully under imaginary circumstances."

Lauren Taylor

Lauren Taylor, star of The Disney Channel's "Best Friends Whenever," acknowledged entertainment is "a hard industry," adding, "But then again, so is everything, so really just go for it."

Bradley Steven Perry

Persistence is key for Disney star Bradley Steven Perry, who said, "Don't give up. Acting is a lot of being told you didn't get [the role]."

Jessica Marie Garcia

And Jessica Marie Garcia, star of The Disney Channel's "Liv and Maddie," offered this token of wisdom: "Follow your dreams. You know, you can be whatever you want as long as you believe in yourself."
