"Eventually a person has to start taking responsibility for their own life," a therapist says in the trailer for "You're the Worst" season 3. Except all of the characters in the FXX comedy would laugh in her face.

Season 3 picks up after Gretchen (Aya Cash) and Jimmy (Chris Geere) confessed to loving each other. Gretchen also vowed to go to therapy after spending much of the season in a depressed state. (That therapist is played by "Orange Is the New Black" darling Samira Wiley, by the way. Yay!)
But #adulting is hard for Gretchen and Jimmy, as well as their friends Edgar (Desmin Borges) and Lindsay (Kether Donohue). The latter is the last woman who should ever have a baby, but found herself pregnant by her ex-husband at the end of last season. The rage on her face when he gushes about raising their child together forever is the best of the worst.

"You're the Worst" season 3 premieres August 31 on FXX.
