Police Interceptors Season 10

The programme returns with cameras once again following a high-speed police interception unit at work in Durham and Cleveland. Andy Lawson is involved in a high-speed chase through a housing estate, Kev Salter carries out an early morning raid on a suspected drug dealer's house and a drunk driver is grumpy when pulled over, then irate when he is arrested

Damo and the firearms team tackle a gunman at a supermarket, while Gareth engages in a headlong, death-defying pursuit along roads, pavements and back allies. Elsewhere, an offender makes his getaway from Kev and Mark, and Jimmy Grieves faces down five angry men on an estate in Hartlepool.

Kev Salter goes on three drug busts, accompanied on two of them by newcomer Pete Tate, while Ben Sutcliffe shows presenter Rick Edwards the ropes, taking him on a fast-paced ride through Taser, method of entry and firearms training. Plus, a look back at two classic stories, showing the lengths to which people will go to hide their narcotics and how the police managed to gain access to a suspected drugs den

Rick Edwards presents a collection of the most extreme chases the interceptors have been involved in, with incidents include Neil and Stokes in hot pursuit through a residential estate over the Christmas holidays, officers in Norfolk fearing for their lives as a 20-ton farm truck is driven straight at them, and Sgt Kev Salter facing some armed robbers.

Rick Edwards joins Durham and Cleveland's dedicated team of enforcers as they hunt down, stop and lock-up anyone breaking the rules of the road, with Kev Salter showing him how to spot a drunk driver, before the presenter rides shotgun on an interceptor night shift. Plus, Paul `Jacko' Jackson collars a boozed-up driver and chases down an all-terrain tearaway.

Kev pepper-sprays a suspect resisting arrest, while Richie and his colleagues undertake a tactical pursuit and containment operation on a stolen car in the snow. Spike raids a cannabis farm, and Paul rushes to rescue two people whose vehicle has been crushed by a falling tree.

Liam and his dog Vader bring down a fleeing suspect, while Kev and Spike rescue a man trapped in an overturned car after a spectacular crash. Pete is forced to pull out his Taser when arresting a violent offender.

An insight into the world of night-time policing, featuring interviews with officers who make up the Interceptors team, as they explain how to deal with the criminals who run riot on the streets after dark. Damien and Mark are forced to take drastic action against a violent suspect on New Year's Eve, officers race to stop a drink-driver who is heading the wrong way up the M6, and a burglar takes the Interceptors on a late night pursuit.

Kev and Pete pursue a runaway car into a pitch-black farmer's field, Jacko takes part in a major heroin bust, and rookie police dog Elsa chases a runaway burglar through the streets of Middlesbrough.

Interceptor Paul 'the mustard' Faulkner has a close shave with a stolen vehicle, Sergeant Kev Salter's stake out proves well done, Liam Sewell has a front row seat in a pirouetting pursuit and Spike unearths a bumper crop.

Chris and Andy pursue a drug dealer through the back streets of Shotton, Co Durham, Kev tracks down a man threatening drinkers with an axe, and Spike has a high-speed chase in the countryside. Finally, Richie learns that perseverance sometimes bring its own reward

A pursuit ends in a flaming fireball for Damo and Nyci, Kev and Mark chase a gang of motorbike thieves, Jacko pursues a runaway car through the park, and Liam and police dog Vader sink their teeth into a suspected thief.
